The beach of Rethymno Town is situated 4 kilometers far from Rethymnon at the East. It is a beautiful sandy beach, open to the North, so it is affected by the "meltemia". Access from Rethymnon is easy by public bus, with frequent service, taxi and rented or private car and motorbike.
