ROUTES

Two basic routes cross
the island starting from Chora. The first route leads to the area
of Epano Meria (Upper Area) the northeastern part of the island.
The second leads after it branches into two main roads to the rest
of the island.
These two routes connect between them, since the branch of the first
one after going through the near by villages of Mountado and Karya,
meets with the second at the point that the village Tripotamos is
presently located. This connecting road goes through some water
ravines and vegetation and at its highest point someone faces a
amphitheatric view of Chora and the open sea.
