SAMOS ISLAND Welcome to island of Samos, a stunningly beautiful island that has something to offer to everyone. SAMOS TOWN The capital of the island is situated 17km from the international airport on the south coast; Samos town is on the North East coast. Here visitors will find everything they are looking for in their holidays. Accommodation here can suit every purce, from large hotels with swimming pool to small Greek pensions. There are two beaches in Samos town, the small Roditses beach and the more organized Gandou beach, which offers facilities such as umbrellas, showers and beach bar. In the evening, bars and restaurants around here and there and a couple of Discos for those who wish to stay up until the morning hours . Shopping in Samos town is also a pleasure, from small gift shops to exclusive boutiques - the choice is endless. The main bus station is situated in Samos town from where it is possible to go just about anywhere on the island . Excellent news for those who wish to export the island, by local transport, after a few lazy days on the beach. With the wonderful harbour facilities available here it is possible to visit the neighbouring islands of Fourni, Ikaria, Lipsi, Leros and Patmos as well as nearby Turkey.

Samos island has three ports: Samos Port, Pythagorio Port and Karlovassi Port. Please, before getting out from the boat be sure that you are getting out at the correct port, SAMOS (Vathi) port.

The airport on Samos Island is 16km away from Samos Port. There are buses and taxis fro your transportation to Samos Port. You can find us exactly opposite the ferryboat at Samos Port, and we are always there to help you with your trip to Turkey.
Patmos "the Jerusalem of Aegean" There are daily boats from Samos to Patmos early in the morning , so you can visit Patmos for a day, but there are also boats in the afternoon. Ships arriving at Patmos dock in the island's harbour, Skala, a scenic place with little fish tavernas, restaurants, hotels nad shops. The famous monastery of St. John is not far away from the port and is the most interesting area to visit.
There are almost daily ferries from Samos to the Cyclades islands and back. There are 5 times a week from Samos to Paros and Naxos , 4 times a week from Samos to Syros From Samos to Athens (Piraeus) there are daily boats always in the afternoon at least once a day. There are also flights 4 times a day from Samos to Athens.
