Antiquities in the Nafpaktos city.

The many earthquakes that battered the place from time to time, in combination with the fact that the city was being habitated all the time – for more than 3.500 years - this had as a result the loss of important ancient monuments, except for its fort.

The city, every time that it was being destroyed after it was being built under its ruins. Because of this, its subsoil is full of ancient findings from all the ages of its history.
