Historical Info

Ancient and modern history is literally embedded in the foundations, as an ancient Mycenaean Queens Thule grave (1600-100 B.C) was discovered while constructing the Hotel and now is on display. Many amforae, kylikas, different pots and two golden necklaces were found in the excavation.

The ancient Mycenaean King built in this dazzling location a Thule grave dedicated to his Queen. Inspired from this Historical and beautiful hill we built a hotel dedicated to interesting people the world over.

The Greek cuisine

Greek cuisine besides being unique, is a very “transparent” cuisine, were the quality of the ingredients and every little difference in the way of preparation offers a totally different taste. In “Barbarossa Restaurant” all ingredients are carefully selected and controlled, produced in traditional or organic farms (where crops are cultivated without chemicals). Meat is from Tinos Island, fresh fish and sea food are from Myconian Sea, all vegetables and fruits are organic, and everything is served with pure Cretan olive oil. Local delicacies will offer you a fine dining experience.

Bar & Cellar

Facing the sunset the main bar offers great cocktails, a very large selections of Greek wines (some of them organic) and international beers. Cold snacks “Greek meze” and Greek aperitif “Ouzo” will make your day. Twice a week you can enjoy live piano.

“Board of directors” style with a 6 meter length antique table, sitting 2 persons, with separate secretary table and sitting area for small breaks. A larger Break lounge with sofa and serving table is available to create a pleasant stay and relaxing atmosphere for your meetings.
There is possibility of a “theatre-style” arrangement in order to
