There are a lot of beaches in Iraklio. Some of these: Peninsula, Malia, Stalida, Ammoudara, Matala etc.  

There are a lot of restaurants, taverns and  centers of amusement. You won’t have  problem about your residence. There are a lot of hotels in the city so as bungalows.
