In a little distance from Paros, is located the small but very beautiful island Antiparos. You can reach to the island choosing one of the two ways.

The first way is to sail from the port of Paroikia with the small boat, which are transferred only passengers and the second way is to reach by the road until Pounta and then to pass opposite with the ferry boat taking with you and your car. The time of the first way is about 1 hour and the second is about 15 minutes.

You cannot leave from the island before you visit the famous cave. It is called Sanctuary and it is famous all over the world for the miraculous stalactites. For your transportation there you can use your own car or with group of tourist agency.

Just arrived in front of the cave, you'll see the marvelous entrance of the cave. For being on the heart of the cave you must first go down the 400 stairs, which are special design for your facility.
Your descent is accompanied the beautiful stalactites with the strange shape and at the end of the route is waiting you a wonderful thalamus, with length 216 meters, width 203 meters and high 18 meters. Characteristics are the signs on the stalactites of the King of Greece, Othon and the Queen Amalias, who passed from here the 1840.
